Živogosce is a coastal village in the foot of the mountain Biokovo, about 20 kilometers far away from Makarska, 80 kilometers from Split and about 120 kilometers far away from Dubrovnik. It administratively belongs to Podgora district. Total population of Živogosce is 538 inhabitants. It contains hotel, camp and private accommodation opportunities. Camp has capacity of 2500, and the same number of capacity is in private apartments and villas. Hotel capacity is 650 beds. In Živogosce are many opportunities for sports, so you can choose between some water sports or even some extreme sports.
During the season tours to mountain Biokovo are organized on the regular basis.
